About

DNS Fool is a blog by Cory Wright dedicated to providing timely, relevant, and interestings news to DNS administrators.

To the befuddlement of his peers, Cory has always been fascinated with DNS.  It all began during his college years when he was first asked to configure an old BIND 4 server while working for a local ISP.  Years later, in the fall of 2001, he discovered djbdns and realized there was a whole new way of thinking about DNS.

Today, as the Internet continues to grow, DNS is more important than ever.   Cory decided that DNS administrators needed a place they could rely on for the latest security reports, root server changes, and general news and information about the domain name system.  Thus, DNS Fool was born.
